Glicibent
This osmoprotectant, which contains pure glycine betaine, improves plant performance under environmental stress, enhancing both fruit preservation and firmness as well as overall productivity. It reduces the effects of abiotic stress, such as heat, frost, and drought. The amino acid glycine betaine contained in Glicinbet is derived from sugar beet molasses and serves as an important osmotic regulator for the plant. In this way, glycine betaine improves the regulation of osmotic pressure within plant cells.
